Upcoming Campus Events...
It’s been a hectic couple of weeks for the scheme – applications opened and we started just where we left off last year with two records! Not only did we have the quickest ever application made after opening (10 minutes) but we also had the highest ever number of applications on the day we opened (6 in total) It really was an absolutely fantastic start to the scheme.
We’ve also been busy going meeting lots of people who are interested in becoming a maths teacher and applying for the scholarship. So, if we’ve met you at our own Café Maths events, Train to Teach events, University Career’s fair or as we help out on the Department for Education stands thank you for coming along to say hello. It really is incredibly heartening to meet so many people who see teaching as the profession they want to work in and make a difference. If you’re still thinking about teaching and want to come along and talk to us, we’ll be at campus events:

For wider teaching events, the scheme is at many of the Train to Teach Events organised by the Department for Education, so make sure you register at www.getintoteaching.education.gov.uk to keep up to date on events in your local area. Even if the maths scholarship scheme is not present (and we usually are) there will always be representatives from the other schemes who will be able to help you. Of course you can also register your interest in the scholarship scheme by e-mailing scholarships@ima.org.uk
