We’re thrilled to announce that the Mathematics Teacher Training Scholarships will be back for an eleventh year. We have 270 Maths Scholarships to award to those starting their initial teacher training in 2023/24, who have a passion for mathematics and want to share their knowledge with others – inspiring young minds in the classroom.

A Maths Circle is a simple concept – bring together a small group of pupils and a mentor on a regular basis to work through a carefully sequenced curriculum of exciting maths tasks. Maths Circles have a long history of running in other countries, but now they are being launched in the UK by the charity MESME (Mathematics Education for Social Mobility and Excellence).
