Desmos is a fantastic, free tool for enhancing students’ understanding of mathematics. In this webinar we will explore effective techniques for using the Desmos graphing calculator for: 
- Exploring graphs and functions. 
- Understanding probability and statistics. 
- Encouraging student exploration. 

About the Speaker

Tom Button is MEI's Mathematics Technology Specialist. He’s an expert in the use of technology for the teaching and learning of maths and has presented a large number of PD courses on this. He posts on BlueSky about technology in maths at @tombutton.bsky.social and blogs at Digital technologies for learning mathematics.
