What’s the point? Bringing the real world into maths lessons with STEM Ambassadors

Friday 9th of April 2021 - Live Webinar

Part of the Easter Online Jamboree 2021

About The Event

Maths is a really versatile subject and the knowledge and skills that we learn at school remain useful throughout our careers, no matter what field we work in. In this session we will explore how maths is used in many different careers and talk to STEM Ambassadors who use maths every day in diverse jobs. You will learn how to enrich your teaching with real-world examples whilst inspiring your pupils with ideas for satisfying careers that they may have never encountered before.

This event will be held between 10:00 - 11:30 (BST) on Friday the 9th of April 2021.
