Maths Scholarships CPD Webinar - Using Desmos for Statistics
Saturday 13th February 2021 - Live Webinar
Natalie Vernon (MEI) - Using Desmos for Statistics
About The Event
In this session we will explore how to make use of the statistical functions within the Desmos graphing calculator. Desmos is free dynamic graphing software that can be used via a web browser or an app. This powerful tool enables you to quickly create statistical representations, examine the shape of, and calculate summary values for your data.
We will also look at how to use dynamic representations to exemplify important statistical ideas. These tools will allow you to spend more time focusing on developing the statistical interpretation skills that students need in both their examinations and their life.
This event will be held at 10:00 (GMT) on Saturday the 13th of February 2021.
