Maths Engagement in and Beyond the Classroom

Tuesday 6th of April 2021 - Live Webinar

Part of the Easter Online Jamboree 2021

About The Event

Join us for a session exploring the key elements of engagement and how they can help you to plan and develop engaging and inspiring experiences for your students. This session will also explore the different ways you can use experiences beyond the classroom to support your students' maths learning. Informal learning environments, such as museums, help to broaden the perception that Maths is more than a subject that is learned in school and demonstrates how it has useful and relevant applications in everyday life. We will share simple ideas and activities inspired by a museum engagement approach to spark interest and promote more positive attitudes towards maths.

This event will be held between 10:00-12:00 (BST) on Tuesday the 6th of April 2021.
