About The Event
This webinar will explore the use of Desmos in teaching secondary mathematics. In the first half of the webinar we will explore effective techniques for using the Desmos graphing calculator to enhance students’ understanding of mathematical concepts. In the second half we will demonstrate how Desmos activities are a very powerful tool to interact with students mathematically.
This event will be held from 10:00 - 12:00 (GMT) on Saturday the 11th of December 2021.

Tom Button is MEI's Mathematics Technology Specialist. He is an expert in using technology to support the teaching and learning of maths. He delivers professional development courses and writes resources to help teachers improve their use of digital tools to access challenging mathematical concepts.
