How I found the Mathematics Test part of my Online Assessment
I can’t deny that I was extremely nervous for my online assessment - I had no idea what to expect from the tasks provided. I had begun preparing a couple of weeks in advance and knew pretty much how I would answer the questions, but I still was unsure how the assessors would be or what the atmosphere would be like. Turns out, I had absolutely nothing to worry about! Both of my assessors were extremely welcoming and friendly, and I got the feeling that they really wanted everyone to do well. One of my main questions was “what is the biggest perk of being an IMA member?” and they both agreed on the networking and social opportunities provided by the scholarship - which makes me really excited for the upcoming year of CPD events!
My main advice is to not stress too much, the process can be overwhelming and daunting at times, but I can assure you that as long as you are prepared and don’t forget to smile, you’ll ace it!
